Founded in 1969, Science Timmins Inc is a non-profit, charitable organization of volunteers governed by a community based, volunteers Board of Directors. Due to the success of its founding activity, the Northeastern Ontario Science Fair, the organization developed a reputation for promoting science and technology throughout Northeastern Ontario. Over the course of 40 years, it has successfully initiated, developed and operated eleven diverse, bilingual science programs. Science Timmins offers many Outreach programs. With the Science Mobile, it will extend the reach of available programs remote areas of Northeastern Ontario and First Nations Communities.
